Eva Höfli en Mark Gutjahr zijn ‘color designer’ bij BASF Coatings en daarom weten ze alles van kleurtjes, gevoelens, trends en meer zweverig geneuzel.
Ondanks de recessie denken ze bijvoorbeeld niet dat mensen massaal gaan kiezen voor donkere, sombere en saaie kleuren. Integendeel, volgens Eva en Mark zullen mensen steeds vaker kiezen voor kleuren die bij hun persoonlijkheid passen en iets uitstralen. Bye, bye Audi zilver zou ik zeggen.
“In an impressive manner, the global financial crisis has demonstrated the fragility of the material fortune we cling to,” said Gutjahr. In line with this, the automotive color trends of tomorrow are reflecting the realization that there’s more to life than material wealth.

Light, pastel areas on a cool, metallic basic color
Apricot
Very delicate, light colors with a high share of white and gray
Brown to bronze
Deep, warm browns from dark honey to chocolate and bronzes

Gray-greens or silvery nuances; very warm and with a colored flip effect
Dark green
Rich color with golden highlight and dark flip effect
Blue
Deep, cool areas with inclusion of green and turquoise (no red tinge)
